I-64 to I-264 West to downtown, take Waterside Drive exit.  Rte 44, take I-264 West to downtown Norfolk to Waterside Drive.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  Battleship USS Wisconsin, an artifact of the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, is berthed adjacent to the museum.  The museum is located on the second floor of Nauticus. It is the world's largest battleship.

TYPES OF PATHS TO OR AROUND ATTRACTION:  Uncovered bridge from 2nd floor to the ship.  Paths accessible to persons with mobility disabilities.  Length of paths 118 ft.

ENTRANCE:  Located 2nd floor of Nauticus.  Glass entry doors, 72 in. wide, easily open in with clearly marked metal bar handles located 36 in. above floor. 

PUBLIC REST ROOMS:  Located all three floor of Nauticus - none on USS Wisconsin.

ELEVATOR:  Located in Nauticus, none on ship.

SPECIAL SERVICES:
For guests with hearing disabilities, written scripts are available.

For guests with visual disabilities, there are audio cassettes and portable tape recorders, and signs printed on a non-glossy surface.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE FACILITIES:  Located in Nauticus.

GIFT SHOP:  In Nauticus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The USS Wisconsin is overseen by the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, an official U.S. Navy Museum.  The ship and museum retain the same hours as Nauticus.  The HRNM, including the USS Wisconsin, is free and open to the public.  There is a fee to visit Nauticus.  The Wisconsin is accessible through the museum, located on the second floor of Nauticus.  Tours of the museum and ship can be scheduled in advance by calling (757)322-2986.
