I-64 to exit 263B (Mercury Blvd) turn right at 1st light, then turn right again at 1st light, turn left into entrance at the top of the overpass.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  Designed to resemble a working farm, this 60-acre site features barnyard animals, playground, picnic areas, petting zoo and recreational facilities. An area to picnic or play on the playground while viewing various animals.

PARKING:  2 wheelchair accessible parking spaces located directly across from entrance.  RV parking.

TYPES OF PATHS TO OR AROUND ATTRACTION:  Paved.  Paths  accessible to persons with mobility disabilities.  There are trails that lead away from the picnic area, but they are stepped and would be difficult for maneuvering a wheelchair.

ENTRANCE:  Located front of farm - there is a turnstyle and a gate for strollers and wheelchairs.

FACILITIES:  Signage printed in contrasting colors.  Documents in large print on non-glossy surface.  Lowered drinking fountains. 

PUBLIC REST ROOMS:  Located close to entrance.  Doors 35 in. wide, open out.  Turns to enter.  Stalls have 36 in. wide doors opening in, and handrails.  19 in. toilet seat height.  Sink height 16 in.  Wrapped pipes.  Rest rooms are identified by a raisedfigure with pants or skirt on door to designate men or women.

PUBLIC TELEPHONE:  Wheelchair accessible and amplified phone located next to main office. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Tours are self-guided.  High steps to enter and exit the building.  Playground raised slightly and surrounded by wood beams and surfaced with mulch.  Picnic area across from the entrance has tables, but two small bridges to cross. open Wednesday through Sunday from 9am-5pm. The park is closed on all major holidays except Easter.
