GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Showtimers of the Roanoke Valley, Inc.(Showtimers)is a Community Theatre which has been in continuous operation since 1951. The purpose of the organization is to promote nonprofessional theatre by producing &/or performing plays for the pleasure, satisfaction & education of the general public. Live theatre brings to this stage many talented local people at an affordable price in a pleasant, comfortable setting.
PARKING: 2 designated accessible parking spaces in gravel lot. Nearby ramp.
TYPES OF PATHS TO OR AROUND ATTRACTION: Gravel all around, wooden steps. Steep grades may require assistance for persons in wheelchairs. Length of paths 40 ft.
ENTRANCE: Located on top of a hill. 8 exterior steps. Handrails on left/right. Ramps provided. 1 entry door, 34 in. wide, open out with U shaped handle located 35 in. above floor. Handrails on left/right.
PUBLIC REST ROOMS: In hallway before entering the theatre. Available without steps. Doors 34 in. wide, open in. Turns to enter. Wheelchair accessible stalls have 32 in. wide doors opening out, and handrails. 19 in. toilet seat height, 16 in. between commode and wall. Sink height 31 in. Wrapped pipes. Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions.

For guests with hearing disabilities, there are signing interpreters available with advance notice.
For guests with visual disabilities, there are signs in large print, with contrasting background.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE FACILITIES: Food and sodas served across from main entrance during 15 minute intermission.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Accepted credit cards: V, MC and DS. Show times: 8 PM, and 2 PM on Sun. Admission is cheaper by the dozen. Six shows are performed yearly.
