PARKING: 26 wheelchair accessible parking spaces at least 96 inches wide.  

 

FACILITIES:  Escalator and elevator. Signage in contrasting colors.

 

PUBLIC REST ROOMS: Located under stairs on first floor, on concourse (2nd level) and down hall on right at top of stairs before security check-point. No steps. Doors are 34-in. wide, and open in. Turns to enter. Accessible stalls have 32-in. wide doors opening out, handrails. 19-in. toilet seat height, and 8-in. between commode and wall. Sink height is 34-in. Sensor controlled sinks and flushing. Pipes are wrapped. Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions.

 

PHONES:  Wheelchair accessible public phones, amplified public phone and TTY available at public phones.

 

FOOD AND BEVERAGE:  Restaurant and lounge. 21 tables in restaurant and 13 in lounge, 29-in. height with 48-in. aisles.

 

GIFT SHOP:  Aisles 48-in. wide, and counters are 38-in. high. Clerks assist customers with special needs. Aisles clear of temporary displays.  

 

PROCEDURES:  Each airline has procedures for tickets, luggage, boarding and exiting and wheelchairs available for persons with mobility disabilities. Sky caps are available for assistance.

 

AIRPORT SECURITY PROCEDURES:  If a person has a mobility disability or uses a wheelchair, security personnel will use a hand wand. Security personnel will assist customers with visual disabilities in placing luggage on the x-ray unit. Airport personnel will use a hand wand as an alternative to the metal detector. Customers with hearing disabilities have ample signage explaining procedures. Contact the TSA for latest security regulation updates.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Airport has non-smoking areas available.  Luggage handling is also available.
