FACILITIES: Signage is printed in contrasting colors, raised and recessed lettering. Lowered drinking fountain. Luggage handling available. Non smoking rooms available.
PUBLIC REST ROOMS: Just off lobby. Doors are 36 in. wide, and open out. Turns to enter. Accessible stalls have 48 in. wide doors opening in. 19 in. toilet seat height, 23 in. between commode and wall. Sink height 34 in. Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions.
ELEVATOR: Wheelchair accessible elevator with sound indicator. Interior of car is 81 in. by 55 in.
ACCOMMODATIONS: 2 wheelchair accessible rooms, located on first floor off lobby, with 2 double or 1 king-size bed on frame with no obstruction beneath, and sleep sofa. Unneeded furniture removed on request. 60 in. circular clear space in room and bath. Bathroom door is 36 in. wide. Wheelchair accessible toilet 19 inches high with room for a lateral transfer. Grab bar in tub. Hand held shower heads. Sink is 34 in. high. Handrail with toilet. Room numbers recessed. Large digit display alarm clocks. Smoke alarm with flashing light. TTY. Closed captioned TV. Lever handles on doors. Lowered light switches, thermostat, and peep holes. If wheelchair accessible room not available, front desk staff on hand to assist with alternate accommodations.
SAFETY PROCEDURES: Guests in wheelchairs routinely assigned to first floor rooms. Front desk personnel made aware of guests with disabilities, and their type, in case of emergency.
