DIRECTIONS: From Lovingston, go north on US 29 for 1 mile, left on State Rte 718, follow “Grape Cluster” signs to winery. 3.5 miles from US 29.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Central Virginia's oldest winery, offers tours, tasting and retail sales. Has extensive picnic area, hiking trails, mountain biking rte, and space for meetings, weddings and conferences. Light foods sold in season, catering available.
PARKING: 3 wheelchair accessible parking spaces with 96 inch access aisles. Located within 50 ft. of sales room. Nearby ramps well marked. RV parking.
TYPES OF PATHS TO OR AROUND ATTRACTION: Winery tour all paved, other paths not wheelchair accessible. Length of paths 100 yds.
ENTRANCE: 50 ft. from parking. 2 exterior steps, each 8 in. high. Handrails on left/right. Ramps provided. 2 entry doors, 36 in. wide, easily open in with thumb push handle located 34 in. above floor.
PUBLIC REST ROOMS: In Sales Room. Doors 36 in. wide, open in. One turn to enter. Accessible stalls 55 in. wide, handrails. 19 in. toilet seat height, 21 in. between commode and wall. Sink height 36 in. Wrapped pipes. Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions. Unisex or companion assisted rest rooms available. Rest rooms are identified by a raised figure with pants or skirt on door to designate men or women.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE FACILITIES: Facilities most accessible to wheelchairs located on paved area. 3 tables for guests in wheelchairs, located 30 ft. from door. Table height 36 in.
GIFT SHOP: Counters 36 in. high. Aisles clear of temporary displays.
